MLPA & VHCA are joining forces to present Atlanta's only competitive one-mile race with cash prizes, the eighth annual Morningside Mile. Starting at the YWCA at 957 North Highland and finishing up at Morningside Village (1424 N. Highland), the race and party will benefit the N. Highland Corridor, this vital artery through our two historic intown neighborhoods.
The race features 3 corrals to accommodate everyone from competitive racers to joggers/walkers/strollers. As the logo says, Dude, It's Only a Mile, so everyone is encouraged to participate. Even if exercise isn't your thing, the ROCK N. HIGHLAND Block Party is sure to strike a note for you. We'll have a live band, food, drinks, and activities for all ages following the race until 7:00 PM so come out and meet your neighbors and make new friends.
